Sorrows Furnace or Domain of Anguish?
I am wondering what area everyone likes better. Sorrows Furnace or Domain of Anguish. Personaly I like SF. I can go in there with henchies stay as long as I like without worring about getting sent back to War Camp, and just kill to my hearts content. With Domain of Anguish there are no henchies and if the whole group you are in dies then you are sent back to the main outpost. Not too fun in my book.
Mega Mouse
The only reason that I am asking about these 2 areas is anyone can get into them without requirements although Domain of Anguish requires that you beat Nightfall, but that I do not realy count.. With FOW and UW you must be ascended, With Urzog's and The Deep you must be either in the alliance that owns Cavalon or House Zu Heltzer (spelled correctly I hope). As far as Tomb of the Primevil Kings go i did not include this mainly because it is more a PVP area than PVE.

Somehow, I think that this topic will be unanimous for Sorrow's Furnace...

Sorrow's Furnace, because of the sentimental value it has to me. Domain is sort of like a hellish marathon that you can't wait for it to be over, where as SF was really an enjoyable experience for me.

I wish I could still make my massive minion army during Orozar's quest. I acutally got my Bortak's Bone Claw from being a MM in a 5 man group.

Why does OP wonder which everyone likes better?
It's abundantly clear by reading these boards or talking to players in-game the vast majority of players hate DoA and love SF.

Unless you'r a masochistic no-life with too much time on your hands and a guild full of people like you, you're bound to like SF more than the DoA.
But I used to think they already went too far with Urgoz, so..

SF. Only environmental effect that's there is part of a quest. No stupid, artificial limitations on your party because of insufficient AI.
Henchies.

Cos only 1% of players ever set foot in deep or urgoz.
Sorry it just had to be said.

That statement seems way off to me. There was a free access Deep/Urgoz weekend where anyone can access the Deep/Urgoz. From what I recall, many players did try it and there were many complainers from the Deep/Urgoz regulars saying the place is now filled with "noobs" and couldn't wait until the weekend event was over.
So I would say that a lot more than 1% did set foot at least once in the Deep and Urgoz mission.

SF
As I'm not an Elite player but a causal player, DoA is not for me
I've tried, died, and went back on my other toons.
SF on the contrary is perfect for pve guild activities, espcially if you have members on different servers.
* Wish there gonna be another SF like update one day *

Stepped in Sorrow Furnace but there is absolutely no point. But one interesting thing in Sorrow Furnace is that there is a weird bug, that at times that spawn up to 500g (or more) drops from certain enemies (it’s only for a certain quest though). Probably the easiest elite area then most of the others including DoA, that’s why most people like it more, and it was the original add-on area. So far I see nothing but Pro’s and Con’s about each area and I’m not satisfied by one, but take time to do them all together.
Edit: Here is a question though if each new area that is added to these campaign gets tougher and tougher; what do you think the chapter 4 elite area will be like?

You are comparing an expanded normal area with elite area.
I like Istan more than any of the two areas you mentioned. But does that even count?

Sorrow's Furnace bring back memories of the good old days, double Drago Flatbow drop anyone?
I got nothing to say about DoA (Death on Arrival) and the Realms of Torment(RoT)

Because DoA is the only endgame area for NF, so its the only NF thing that exists to compare SF to.
Your point might be valid if they add a SF-like area to NF also, but that won't be happening hence the comparison must be SF to DoA.
In any case Sorrow's Furnace was branded by Anet as one of the most challenging areas of the game when it came out, not a normal area. That SF did not live up to it's "hardness" mandate does not make it a normal area.

Frankly, I'd have to say DoA. I never played very much in SF. The environments are nice, it's greatly designed, but for some reason I just prefer DoA.

I prefer DoA.
Mainly cause SF is too easy to be entertaining. Did the entire "story arc" there twice, and cant get myself to stay awake through 5-man cookie cutter farm runs.
Easy = lose for me

SF. easy, fun, fast
now i'd have to say The Deep, is by far my favorite because it took tactics, warriors did their jobs, and nukers did too, and the area was just breath taking!
